Date Night!

Drew and I went on a date night last night, thanks to his parents, who watched Luke for us. We went to the temple and then ate some DELISH Chipotle and then went to the Mavs game! Drew got tickets way back on his birthday (Nov) and we went last night. He had been looking forward to that game for a long time.

We ALSO found FREE parking! That was basically a miracle. We were actually looking for the $10 lot because we didn't want to pay $20 but then Drew saw a spot on the street! Amazing.

Oh, and then after the game we went to get an Oreo McFlurry from McD's and first they screwed up the order so they gave us some free cookies and then they made an M & M McFlurry, which Drew and I hate, so they just let us keep the M & M one and made us an Oreo one too. I scooped out all the M & Ms and we ate the vanilla. What a good, cheap date!!

GO MAVS! (They ended up losing. Losers.) We were on the VERY top row, which was kinda fun. But HIGH.

I like this picture. He makes me laugh.

Perty cool, eh?

We weren't the only Peppers floating around!

MOVING...

Yes. We moved BACK in with the Peppers. I don't know why they put up with us. Bless them.

However, I wanted to recap all the moving Drew and I have done since we've been married:

- Inca Villa (the apt we lived in right after we were married)

MOVED TO

- A basement apartment (we moved here after we were kicked out of Inca Villa)

MOVED TO

- New York, Columbia University's International House (Okay, this was awesome)

MOVED TO

- Texas, Crestmeadow house (the house the Peppers lived in when we started living with them)

MOVED TO

- Lexington house (the Peppers moved, so we moved with them!)

MOVED TO

- The Falls (lived in these apartments for 6 months)

MOVED TO

- Back to Lexington house. We'll see where we go from here.

Meanwhile, here are some pictures of our adorable baby:

Back to the Y

The Pepper family is headed back to where it all began and I am so excited! Drew, Luke, and I are going to Utah in a couple of weeks (13 days, actually) and for some reason I am just super stoked to be going back. Maybe it's because that's where all the magic between Drew and I started (awwww...so sweet) or because I spent so much time of my life there or because there are just a ton of memories. I don't know. I just know I'm excited. And here's a list of all the things we want to do while we're there:

- Meet our new nephew: Oliver Eldon!!
- BYU baseball game (Thursday night - YOU should come!)
- Visit the Daily Universe
- Visit Cougar Creations
- Climb the RB stairs for Bec
- See my Merced pals (And hopefully sleep over at Kellee's)
- Spend an obscene amount of money in the Bookstore (it's an alumni thing.)
- Eat at Bajio's
- Eat a Chicken Taco Wrap from L&T (Good heavens. I have been dreaming about this one.)
- Party in the USA! Rock Canyon Park on Friday 26th at 6:30! Be there or be a UTE! Ha.
- JAZZ game (Drew and the mens)
- Gardner Village (Kat and the womens)
- Spend time with my mom, dad, and my AWESOME 5 brothers!!!!

I think that's it. Maybe we'll go to the place where Drew proposed but it's in the basement of the JFSB and there will probably be classes going on. Anyway, I'm excited.

Pep Update

Well, lots of things have been happenin' here at the Pep household. Here are a few highlights:

- Obviously, Luke turned ONE! He's so big and wonderful and Drew and I are so grateful he's in our life.

- My mom flew here for Luke's birthday and stayed for over a week! It was so fun to have my mom here so that my days weren't so slow and she taught me some sewing techniques. It was fun. I am so glad she is able to come like that.

- Mama Pepper and I ran in the Cowtown! We did the 5k. I am so proud of myself for running the WHOLE time! Yeah that's right. Booyah. No training. But I was 10 minutes slower than the last time I ran a 5k...dang it. Oh well, it motivated me to start working out more than I do right now. It was really fun.

- Luke went to his year appointment. Drew and I went and expected the normal "Blah blah, he's progressing great, blah blah." NO. Turns out Luke has been DOG SICK for a while and we didn't even KNOW!! GRRRR. He has an ear infection in BOTH ears and we were sent home with a breathing machine because he's wheezing and it's in his chest. My poor baby. However, he weighs 22.5 pounds and is 30 inches long, so that's good.

- Turns out we're moving. Yup. We put a bid on a house a long time ago and we were pretty sure we were going to get it so we gave our apartment complex a 60-day notice but then something REALLY stupid happened so that house fell through but we kept putting off breaking the 60-day notice. Well, we went and talked to the office on Saturday and they said they've already pre-leased our apartment, so we have to be out by...get this...March 13th. Holy COW!! I have 2 weeks to pack up this place? Why am I even on this computer?!?! Shoot.

- Just something kind of funny: Luke is obsessed with moving things around. Specifically bottles. He likes moving around water bottles but he's okay with any kind of bottle. It's funny. He'll take a bottle and put it on the TV stand and then take it to the table and back and forth. I'll have to get a video.
