Snowmaggedon!!

We had a big snow storm hit North Carolina last Wednesday & Thursday. It was kind of fun, actually. Drew didn't go to work, we ate snow cream, and the kids absolutely loved it. I'm a little disillusioned by snow at this point because it's cold and makes me wet and miserable. But I still went and played and was a trooper for the kids' sake.

Gracie's First Haircut

My good friend Hayley is a talented hairdresser and I had been wanting to get Gracie's hair cut forever. Drew wasn't so sure. He loved Gracie's long, curly locks, but they also looked ratty a lot and her hair had grown in all uneven. 

It was time.

I didn't save any of the hair like I did when Luke's hair was cut the first time. But really, will she someday think to herself, "I wish I had the hair from my first haircut"? Probably not.
