We're Graduating!!!

Today, Drew officially applied for graduation, which means that we will be able to graduate together in April! That is so exciting for us! Graduation is April 24th and 25th (I think). One problem is that my grandpa is getting remarried sometime that month also. I want to go to that, but now if I'm going to be walking to get my diploma (or an empty diploma case). Anyway, hopefully after that we will be able to go to New York! This is going to be awesome. All I have to do is get a job somewhere and we will be set until we graduate in April! Hopefully all the family will be able to come and attend the festivities!

Drew and I went to California for Thanksgiving this year. We spent about five days there and I loved every minute of it. It went by so fast though!! We only have 10 more days of class and then the semester is over and I am done with school! Drew only has one more semester left, so then we can be graduates together! Yay! While we were at home I made brisket for Drew so that he could have a little bit of Texas while he was in Cali. He said he really liked it! Point for me. We were going to go shopping early in the morning and then at midnight we realized we really didn't want or need anything that was on sale. We wanted sleep more than $2.99 DVDs.
Other than that, there really isn't much going on. We work or do homework about 12 hours a day, so that's cool. OH! Today, Nov. 29, is our 11 month anniversary. One more month and we will have a whole year under our belts.
P.S. I just got an IPod Nano from my brother Steven and I love it. In fact, I'm listening to it right now. The only problem is that Johnny used it before I got it so it has about 40 Wierd Al songs. There are a few songs that I enjoy listening to , though, so it's pretty sweet.

Internship, Baby Names, and Family

Well, I have had my first whole week at my new internship. I really like all the experience I'm getting and I think it will really help me out when I try to get a job later. However, I really miss working at the copy center. Well, I really miss hanging out with Kristin, Nate, Kara, and Liz. Oh, and Fred. That was a neat job. I like the people I work with now but they know I won't be there for long so I think they know they don't have to make a huge effort to become my friend. Anyway, it's a great internship and I learn new things every day!

Kevin was here last week and that was fun. We really only got to hang out with him Halloween night. We watched Red Eye and had ice cream and popcorn, so it was fun. Luckily we didn't have any trick-or-treaters. His thesis was approved--Congrats, Kev!

Drew's birthday was on November 1st so we had waffles for breakfast with Kev then Drew and I went our separate ways for a few hours. Then we went home and we had his favorite dinner (noodles, White Parmesan Ragu sauce, chicken) and watched Seinfeld episodes. It was pretty relaxed so hopefully he had a good birthday. He says he did.

Lastly, I saw on someone's blog this website to find out what your baby's name should be according to your favorite sorts of random things. According to the website, my baby's names are:
Boy: Andrew, Blaze, Christopher, Edward, Holden, Lars, Kyle, Patrick, Vance
Girl: Andrea, Arabella, Christina, Emily, Heather, Kaylee, Patricia, Sabrina
Unisex: Jordan, Quentin

I guess Andrew isn't too shabby...haha. I don't know, I really like Lars and Vance. Lars Pepper. Sick.
Oh, the website is: http://babynamesetc.com/generate.htm

Random Thoughts

Okay, this is an update/a random thought post. So, yesterday I was called and the woman from the Generations Network offered me the internship. I was really happy. Then, a lady called me about the Ensign internship and set up a time I could interview for it. I set that up. I was stoked! After I left work, I checked my voicemail and a lady informed me that her secretary had accidentally called everybody that had applied to the Ensign internship and that actually they did not want to interview with me. I'm so glad I didn't actually talk to her because she was acting really awkward just on the message. Anyway, I think that secretary needs to be replaced. Maybe by me.

Drew and I are really fed up with rude people. Specifically, we are fed up with people (usually girls) who have no regard to anyone else around them. The most annoying thing is when someone is going into a building and they open the door wide enough for only their behind to get in. The person behind them then has to run to catch the door or have their body smashed because of the thoughtlessness of the stupid person in front of them.

Anyway, we love you and hope that at least you are having a fabulous day. We really aren't that bitter. We love each other lots, so our lives are basically perfect. Kind of :)

Welcome to our new blog! Exciting, isn't it? Well, Drew and I are doing great, we are really loving being married. We are actually coming up on our one-year anniversary! That is crazy. We love our new basement apartment--we'll put up pictures of that later. I (Kathryn) graduate in December and am scared to pieces to find a job! I know I can always get a job at a random copy center :) Anyway, enjoy the blog and we love love love love you!!!

P.S. This picture was taken at the Museum of Science in Dallas (I think that's what it is called). Drew is pointing at where he thinks Mansfield is. Right before we went into the museum, we ate some Taco Bell and Drew spilt some sauce on his nice white shirt! It was so funny. We also tried to take a nap in the car but it didn't really work out for us.
