I have to interrupt the Texas travel pics to post about my baby's first day in preschool.
I was really, really hesitant to put Luke in preschool. I figured I would check out preschools next year. It makes sense--start preschool a year before actual school. However, a girl from my ward contacted me saying she was starting up a preschool and she would love for Luke to join (she worked with him in nursery). Still, I was doubtful. But then she sent me her curriculum and I decided that she had put a lot of time and thought into it. Her price was good and the other reason for me doing this: Drew's longest days are Tues and Thurs and Luke's preschool is on Tues and Thurs.
I was nervous! Once my baby starts school it never ends. I mean, Drew is 28 (almost 29!) and he's STILL going to school! I just didn't know if I was ready to let Luke grow up yet. But I let go... and got a little teary, but I held myself together.
We started the day with chocolate chip pancakes. Brain food, right?
I figured his BYU shirt was the best choice for his first day.
And of course his new awesome shoes.
Opening exercises included: weather, date, attendance, prayer.
Circle Time: learning about whales.
Luke and Miss Jamie!
Put your hands together for the Preschool class of 2013!! Aren't they adorable?!
